Technology...then-now-future!
We have been studying how new technologies changed life in the 1800's. List one invention that changed life during this time. Think of one new technology that has changed life in the past 15 years. Make a prediction of a new technology that will change our society in the next 25 years.

ReplyDeleteThe thing I was thinking about the most is phones for the the 1800's. Also the new technology in the next 25 years is most likely new computers that are touch screen and you can talk to it to get information.

Electricity changed life during this time because we can do many things we couldn't do back then.One new technology that has changed life in the past 15 years is the electric car.I predict that there will be a vaxine for cancer.

One invention that changed life in the 1800's was the light bulb and something that has helped our society in the last 15 years is the internet.Something that might change our society in the next 25 years could be a renewable energy that can be implanted in things that run on gas therefore stopping global warming.

One technology that changed life in the 1800s is the automobile and the electric streetcar. This changed transportation forever. One invention that changed life in the last 15 years would be the laptop pc. Now workers can travel and work at the same time. Also, the can work wherever they want. One invention the might change our society in the next 25 years is probably pubic space transportation on space planes. Now only trained astronauts can go to space but later, most people will be able to have a house in Texas and on Mars, (hopefully)

One invention that changed life in the 1800's is the Wright Brothers plane. One new technology that has changed life in the past 15 years is the I Phone 4. It can answer almost any question you ask it. A new technology that I think will change our society in the next 25 years is a hover-car

ReplyDeleteOne invention that changed life in the 1800's was the telephone. It changed life because it allowed people to talk over wide distances. An invention that has changed life in the past fifteen years is the i pad. This has changed life bcause before there was not a devise that you could do so many things on and is only touchscreen. An invention that I think will change life in the next 25 years is a motorcycle that can go high up in the air. I think that this will change life because it will be alot faster instead of waiting in traffic and it can go alot faster than most cars.
One invention that changed life during 1800's is the telephone invented by Alexander Graham Bell. One invention that has helped us is Google. I think that we will find a way to use other forms of energy so we will not be as dependent on oil.

A few things that hves changed life in the last 15 years have been electronics and transportation. One thing that I think will change our society in the next 25 years are going to be either some type of amazing computer that will do a lot of your work for you or a car that could do something very amazing.
ReplyDeleteSam 10- One thing that changed life in the 1800s was the airplane. The Wright brothers' creation was the first act ever of a human flying by using a machine with an engine. Something that has changed life in the past 15 years is social media. Facebook and twitter have made communication so much easier, and it allowed the rebellions in Libya and Egypt to happen. I think that renewable energy will change society in the next 25 years. I think that using hydroelectricity and solar power for our houses and hydrogen fuel for our cars will change the world.

When the invention of the light bulb was finished it could last more than 2 days. A new technology that has changed life in the past 15 years is email. This is a technology that changed life because you didn't have to call that person anymore with email and you could be really far away from them, too and contact them easily. I predict that in the next 25 years there will be an Apple touch screen TV. I t will be like a huge IPad.~Teddy
ReplyDeleteTo me the most important invention was the light bulb. Without it we would have to use candles for light, and that would be a big pain in the neck. A new technology I think will be to fight off gravity and other things like that. In a while, I predict we will be living on the alien planet that is seen in comics and magazines these days.

The Smartphone was invented in 1998 and it made communicating easier. I think that new modernized cars will make the society more laid back when driving because cars will be able to do more things. In the movie IRobot automobiles would drive for you instead of driving manually.

It helped us with news and provides us with many other things like information. It is faster and easier to get the information too. An invention that I think will be made in the future is the flying car. ReplyDeleteI found that the automobile interested me most in this lesson. I think it was important because once it was invented more jobs were created involving automobiles. It also brought the country together in the same way the Transcontinental Railroad did. In the past 15 years the automobile has evolved a lot, there are now fully electric cars. In 25 years you could even see a car flying overhead.
